Service Advisor

 

Description:

Serves as the fix-it-right coordinator of the main workshop. She/ He clarifies customer's concerns by road testing vehicles and informs the customer of diagnosis. Coordinates with the technical training group for all technical related issues.

 

  • Promote the "Fix-it-right the first time" theme to the department
  • Ensure that all staff applies the fix it right concept by providing information relevant to Quality improvements
  • Report repeat repair jobs during FIR meeting and recommend countermeasures to the FIR team. All recommended countermeasures must be communicated to the workshop floor
  • Clarify customer's concerns by road testing vehicles and give report based on findings
  • Performs road test and clarify the concerns of the customers
  • Assist service advisors with explanations to customers regarding concerns and action required or taken
  • Keep a record of all diagnosed vehicles with details of symptoms and probable countermeasures
  • Keep a computer record of all vehicles which undergone diagnosis and had been given a successful countermeasures with photos and details of action repair
  • Report non-compliance with quality processes, recommend and implement countermeasures
  • Give recommendations/suggestions to foreman on ways and means to improve the technicians work performance in technical aspects.
  • Liaise with workshop foreman and QC road tester to ensure quality
  • Help in maintaining and enhancing the quality control system, processes and policy
  • Coordinate with all QC/Road Testers & Foreman for all vehicles that requires attention
