Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to: The Consultant should offer a multi-profiled Consultant for the following areas:
- Experience in all aspects of application development (analysis and design to implementation and support), at least 5 years.
- Advanced application development (preferable .NET with C#) experience. SQL Server database design and implementation experience.
- A good understanding of Infrastructure (hardware, software, data, networking). Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, and Internet Information Services (IIS) experience.
- Experience developing .NET Web Services.
- Experience developing and deploying SharePoint Workflow applications using SharePoint designer and Visual Studio.
- Experience developing and deploying SharePoint web parts.
- Experience developing and deploying customized InfoPath solutions. Good problem-solving skills.
- Begin working with SQL Reporting and Analysis Services. Experience developing against Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008. Understanding of XML data structures.
- Business analysis and design experience.
- Architect and implement a highly available and scalable SharePoint 2010 solutions. Develop customized departmental sites and templates based on requirements provided by each practice group and administrative departments.
- Develop custom solutions using SharePoint Object Model, SharePoint Client Object Model, PowerShell, C#, and ASP .NET.
- Perform content management for SharePoint sites.
- Troubleshoot complex SharePoint application problems, and server issues, including client environments, application configuration, user permissions, and data accuracy. Perform backup and restorations of the SharePoint sites.
- Document and test Disaster Recovery procedures for SharePoint.
- Resolve application outages, monitor production applications and support the day- to-day operations of SharePoint servers - including patches and upgrades.
- Ensure seamless integration with third party applications and data feeds from key business systems.
- Define requirements for hardware platforms, includes required resources and projected growth for the applications.
- Serve as subject matter expert and technical liaison to business for SharePoint related matters. Document and maintain system configurations, application settings and code changes.
- Work with Kahramaa team to develop appropriate application training resources for end-users. Other duties as assigned by the manager such as listed below:
- Application security.
- In-depth experience in site template customization, site definition customizations, content management, collaboration, workflow, custom web parts, reports, master pages, features, Excel Services, InfoPath forms, XMLaw, handshake, Ajax and etc...
- Experience with taxonomy planning (web applications, site collections, document libraries, content type, site columns, and search).
- Experience administrating SharePoint farms at the site collection level as well as using SharePoint Central Administration console.
- Must have strong development skills in SharePoint 2010 environments. Experience in using SharePoint 2010 framework, C#, ASP .NET.
- Experience in developing custom web parts and/or web applications (HTML, ASP .NET, CSS, XML, JavaScript) and development of solution packages.
- Experience in applying software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuration,development, and unit testing using Microsoft technologies.
- Experienced with SQL 2008, T-SQL query, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- In-depth experience in content management, collaboration and social media tools and techniques. Any experience in SP2013 preview or beta release a plus.
- High-level understanding of Active Directory, AD security, TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancer, Firewall, SMTP.
- Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and processes into effective SharePoint solutions.
- Any other software-related area deemed applicable by KAHRAMAA for its SharePoint farm (such as training, setup, etc.).
- The consultant to be deployed should be backed up by vendor Subject Matter experts remotely and is most qualified to coordinate with the Remote vendor team on support, training, and minor development requests.
- Using programming languages to develop websites and create applications.
- Generating and applying design ideas for images/graphics that meet client specifications. Liaising with clients.
- Ensuring the client's requirements are met. Working alone or as part of a team.
- Providing maintenance services for websites. Designing and running tests.
