Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee the production of swords and daggers in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking, a keen eye for quality, and exceptional leadership abilities. This role involves managing the entire manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

 

Production Management:

· Oversee the daily operations of the sword and dagger manufacturing process.

· Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and delivery targets.

· Ensure efficient use of resources, including materials, equipment, and labor.

· Collaborating with our design team to create unique and high-quality products

· Crafting custom metal pieces, including([specific items, e.g., swords, daggers, tools, decorative pieces)

· Utilizing traditional and modern blacksmithing techniques

Quality Control:

· Establish and maintain quality control standards for all products.

· Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure products meet specifications.

· Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.

Team Leadership:

· Supervise and mentor production staff, including metalworkers, machinists, and assembly workers.

· Conduct training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of the team.

· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Process Improvement:

· Identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and implement changes.

· Utilize lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

· Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to keep processes current.

Safety Compliance:

· Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

· Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

· Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Inventory Management:

· Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products.

· Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.

· Manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

Cost Management:

· Develop and manage the manufacturing budget.

· Monitor and control production costs to meet financial targets.

· Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Reporting:

· Prepare regular reports on production performance, including output, quality, and efficiency metrics.

· Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a blacksmith with a strong portfolio of work

Proficiency in various blacksmithing techniques and metalworking tools

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Knowledge of metallurgy and materials science is a plus
