An exciting opportunity has arisen as Technical Account Manager (TAM), reporting to Operational Manager. In this role you will be a part of a team of dedicated technical account managers with responsibilities within different fleet segments. You will be responsible for a portfolio of Service agreements primarily within the LNG segment. You will be a connection point between our customer, our different product groups and the aftersales team.
The Technical Account Manager’s main function is to follow up on Service Agreements, to secure our customers a most profitable and efficient operation. Our customers demand up-time on their assets and strive to keep total cost of ownership as low as possible. In this there is an opportunity for GCS Integrated Solution Service to act as a reliable partner using our competence providing after-market product solutions and services.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as the primary point of contact within KM GCS for a designated customer portfolio with Service Agreements (SA), primarily focused on the LNG segment.
- Serve as the escalation point for SA customers regarding the KONGSBERG Follow the Sun concept and the continuous 24/7 operation between the customer and KONGSBERG.
- Take responsibility for the economic follow-up and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Service Agreements.
- Conduct fleet-wide obsolescence and Life Cycle Management analyses to inform customers about recommended maintenance, modifications, and upgrades well in advance of scheduled maintenance stops/dockings.
- Contribute to the preparation of commercial proposals for new functionalities, modifications, and/or replacement products, aligning with KM's product lifecycle philosophy.
- Plan on-board service visits, coordinating with the KM GCS team globally to ensure the smooth arrangement of preventive maintenance and the procurement of relevant spares.
- Monitor and provide feedback on service and maintenance activities. Collaborate with department manager from various discipline and provide assessment in skillset gaps.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and hold periodic review meetings with customers. Visit customer locations as part of the responsibilities associated with assigned service agreements.
- Actively participate and collaborate within the aftersales/sales network.
Qualifications And Experience
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or similar.
- Experience with the LNG marine industry is an advantage.
- Relevant experience may compensate for a formal degree or work experience from LNG vessels.
- Commercial internest and understanding.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Accept travelling, as required.
