Description:
- A technical writer has to compose clear and coherent technical information, possess complete understanding of a IT services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determines the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension and writes and edits technical information accordingly.
- Prepares graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writing.
- Meets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed.
- Creates, adapts, and follows project schedules and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
- Independently gather information from IT staff to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- This position requires the individual to have an excellent background in technical translation especially in IT settings.
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in English or related, and complete fluency in Arabic language.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- The candidates should be Fluent in English - written and spoken and additionally Arabic written and spoken is mandatory.
- A minimum of 4+ years’ experience working in an IT environment is preferred.
