Technician

Description:

Position Purpose: Installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV & ICT systems (Access control, Gate Barrier, Parking Management, Bollards, PA-BGM, Intercom, IP TV, IP Telephony, Active & Passive Networking, CCTV)

Position Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable in installation, termination, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting all ELV Systems including but not limited to Access control, Gate Barrier, Parking Management, Bollards, PA-BGM, Intercom, IP TV, IP Telephony, Active & Passive Networking, CCTV, all related cabling, and other systems as assigned.
• Effectively troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or any component in the system.
• Responsible for maintaining and upgrading all ELV & ICT systems hardware and software.
• Able to read and understand as-built drawings, scope of work, and blueprints.
• Respond timely to service / emergency calls.
• Interact with the customers in a polite, courteous, and knowledgeable manner.
• Maintain good communication and professional relationships with customers.
• Report issues requiring vendor escalation or parts/materials.
• Familiar with standard and local code requirements like MOI-SSD guidelines.

Qualifications: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. Educational certificates should be attested by Qatar MOFA.

Experience: 2-3 years in the same field
