Telecom Radio Engineer

Description:

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience

• Railway Industry background is highly preferable

• Knowledgeable in configuration of servers, BSC controllers, transceivers, and BBRS access points.

• Excellent in troubleshooting and configuration of On-Board radio units and hand portables.

• Well experienced in troubleshooting of LAN tester, PIM, RF tools, ethernet, cables and connectors.

• Conversant in preparing and monitoring of reports, manuals, MTI and checklists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Alarm monitoring and failure rectification of Radio Sub Systems like MOI, BBRs, PCP, NBR, WIFI and system back up/ restoration.

• Preparation of Fault Defect reports, checklists, MTI, system configuration and backup procedures.

• Ensuring the compliance of Cyber Security policies for Telecom Assets as per the approved design.

• Liaise with operator, failure response team, interface parties and site team for failure rectification.
