Our client, one of leading EPC MNC in Qatar is currently looking for suitable candidates for the Tender Manager role to be based in Doha, Qatar
Job Responsibilities
- Familiarization with Facility Management and Maintenance way of tendering.
- Aware of the required frequency related to each equipment/system.
- Has a strong understanding and knowledge of how to estimate the PPM & CM cost of all MEP systems.
- Skilled enough to do value engineering for all the critical systems in terms of sustainability based on OEM’s recommendations compared to tender requirements.
- Acquire previous performance life history from the critical equipment database with number of breakdowns and type of material replacement.
- While preparing the cost, should look on the spare parts replacement frequency prospective in order not to exaggerate the PPM unit rate.
- Confident in estimating a Comprehensive bid in the absence of spare parts list and consumables.
- To be fully aware about the relative OEMs per system as well as local authorized specialists whom shall be deployed under AMC.
- Fully adapted and understanding of the methodology of Operation of Central Plants including Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling towers and Main pumps with all associated supplementary.
- Managing the operation of running contracts; in terms of controlling cost, assigning the adequate manpower as per proposal submission.
- Capable to prepare and submit the proper Work orders to any change occur to the contract requirement.
- Liaising with Clients for the smooth running of the contracts and attending the monthly progress meetings.
- Participate in the preparation and submission of Business and Budget Plans for Board’s approval.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering
- Have a solid 15 years of experience (at least 10 years in Facility Management Industry)
- Have a background in Tender Department
