4basebio is an innovative gene synthesis company with he ambition to provide high quality, synthetic DNA for use in gene therapy and vaccine platforms. We are expanding our global teams to continue supporting the GMP production of our DNA products for use as a starting material in mRNA and viral vector production as well as an API for use in drug products.
The Vice President of EMEA and APAC is responsible for leading and managing the EMEA & Asia Pacific regional Sales Partners and Field Application Scientists organization to achieve revenue targets and drive sustainable growth. This position reports directly to the CCO and serves as a key member of the senior leadership team
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives
- Set and achieve revenue targets, sales quotes, and key performance indicators
- Build, lead and mentor high-performing Sales and FAS teams across EMEA & APAC regions
- Create and maintain sales forecasts and reporting mechanisms
- Manage all indirect sales partners/distributors and performance
Business Development
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate them
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies
- Drive innovation in sales approaches and methodologies
Commercial Operations Management
- Oversee sales operations, including CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and sales tools
- Develop and manage sales budgets and resource allocation
- Implement and optimize sales processes and procedures
- Collaborate with marketing, product, R&D, project mgmt, and customer success team
Person Specification:
Required Experience
- 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
- 10+ years of sales experience with multinational life sciences enterprises
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Successful history of direct sales and channel sales management
- Bachelor's degree in Biosciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field
